主讲人简介
迈克尔·戴维特（ ）是纽约市立大学研究生中心的杰出哲学教授（荣休），曾在马里兰大学（1988-1999年）与悉尼大学（1971-1987年）任教。主要研究领域包括语言哲学与语言学哲学、实在论、生物本质主义，以及由自然主义引发的方法论问题，是当代实验语义学领军人物。代表性著作包括《指称》（1981年）、《实在论与真理》（1984/1991/1997年）、《语言与现实》（与金·斯特尔尼合著，1987/1999年）、《语言的无知》（2006年）、《将形而上学置于首位》（2010年）、《忽视规约：语言实用主义的困境》（2021年）、《生物本质主义》（2023年）、《指称及其他议题：语言哲学论文集》（即将出版）、与理查德·汉利（ ）合编了《布莱克威尔语言哲学指南》（2006年）。在Mind & , and , , of 等领域权威期刊发表学术论文200余篇。自2008年以来，曾受邀在杜克大学、澳大利亚国立大学、复旦大学、伦敦国王学院、悉尼大学、华东师范大学、山西大学、中山大学等高校举办讲座百余次。
